Day 75

Kirsten Harris 100 Artworks in 100 days for £100 each

SOLD

Shape Shifter
Oil on Canvas
23 x 33 cms

This painting is based on the memory of seeing a chameleon in Zimbabwe. He sat perfectly still in the morning sunshine and posed for hours for us,  perfectly camouflaged in his environment.

Chameleons also feature in Bush Tales, in the song and story Duel-Down by Matthew Jameson, which also features my paintings. www.bushtales.com

Really excited to report that one of my paintings from the Bush Tales series, the crocodile,  from the story Stuck on You , is going to appear as a centrefold poster in the November edition of  National Geographic Kids magazine, which I believe is available at newsagents as well as to order online. There will also be a big Bush Tales promotional event at the National Geographic store on Regent's Street in London on 27th November.

I can't believe it is day 75 already. Thank you so much to everyone who has forwarded the link for the blog to friends and to everyone who has bought paintings. I am very grateful and delighted at the response and success of  the 100 paintings challange so far.

  1. I keep coming back to this. It makes me smile every time! Beautiful, realistic yet also cheeky and somehow like a cartoon character. Wonder what the story is?!
